The best things start with challenge.
We’ve all had a lot of challenges in life. Especially within the past few years, things just seem harder. One challenge I’ve been facing for a while now was gaining the confidence to do something I always dreamt of: Building a brand to sell my some of my most beloved homemade creations.
To that, I finally say: Challenge Accepted.
About Bluebird Bakery
Dream became reality when Bluebird Bakery LLC was established in Summer 2024.
Bluebird Bakery LLC was built on a appreciation for quality ingredients, aesthetically pleasing designs, and seasonally inspired flavors.
Liane is a self-taught baker in Enfield, CT who has always held hope of gaining the courage to move forward with a cottage food operator license to officially sell some of her most prized creations.
With recipes and techniques shared by generations of hardworking women before her, she aims to not only provide delicious baked goods, but also inspire others to go for their dreams.
Her goal with this venture is to make her goofy* inner child proud by trying her best and having fun.
*See image on right: Liane hasn’t found the ability to turn the “goof” off… not even for a nice family photo. You may see the strained smile of a young child, but it’s actually the “classic eyebrows raised, double chin and squinted eye combo move” begging for a laugh.

Doing it Right
Growing up, Liane was always in awe of her parents who she thought could do anything. Her childhood home was in a constant DIY HGTV state. Her parents installed hardwood floors, built an outdoor deck, installed a new shower complete with custom cut tile and grout - you name it.
Although they weren’t professionals and learned as they went, they instilled in her with whatever she does, to “do it right”. Do the research, take your time, and don’t be set on perfection but be proud of the steps you took to get there.
“Doing it right” at Bluebird Bakery LLC starts with the ingredients.
We seek out less-processed quality ingredients that do not sacrifice taste but allow us to feel better about what we are putting into our bodies.
We purchase seasonal fruits and ingredients from local small businesses when possible to support the hardworking farmers in our neighborhoods.
We care deeply about our impact - although our footprint is quite small - on our environment and aim to make the right choices to make a difference.
